Today we went to the library to find out where it is, what its about and what you can do there. They said there that you can take out, up to 8 books on you student ID. You can also borrow DVDs from there. There are also quite a few computers in there witch you can use anytime. Furthermore, the library is open from 8:30am to 5:00pm.

We found 3 scary commercials,

The first was a phones 4 U advert. 
In this advert there is a woman in a car then suddenly a girl appears on her windows which looks like the grudge girl, the camera angle at this point is close up on the scary girls face. Then she has a phones 4 u in her hand.

The second was a Metz advert.

There is a creepy guy in the advert and he is the main character. He also has a weird voice. Near the end he promotes the Metz drink by making someone drink it and at this point it looks scary.


For our TV advert we are going to promote:

We are going to promote an Iphone we are having a kind of scary, freaky advert. Our slogan is "You'd kill for an iPhone". We are having an actor in a dark setting with weapon and hooded, and masked.

In yesterdays  lesson we learned about photography, we learned about taking different shots from different angles. Also, we shot it in different lights as well. Then we had to put it on the computer and edit the photo in Photoshop, to make it look brighter.

 

In today's lesson we learned more about Photoshop and we learned how to make a banner and how to use the shapes, the text, the gradients etc. here is an example: 

In yesterdays lesson we had to watch a short film and take notes on the types of shots. Then after we had to do a story board of a film,music video etc. We had to draw a picture of the shot, the shot type, the minute of it and a description of it. 

In todays lesson we did about about companys which had thing wrong with them like mars they did most of there tests  on animals and pay there employes less 

In today's lesson we were talking about adverts and we had to look a 3 different ones Car, makeup and sofas:

1.The advert shows how fast the car can be, also this will make you want to buy it.

1.The intensive music will also have an affect on you buying it.

    2. It is an upbeat happy song.

    2. Girls watching will see girls in the advert and they will want to be like the girls in the advert, so they will buy there products.  

    3. The sofas looks comfy, makes people want to sit on it so they would buy it. 
    3. Old song, classy non diegetic sound.

I haven chosen this image because of the freaky parts of the image: 

• The general whole face
• The 3 faces one in the eye, one in the other eye, one in the mouth
• There snake like creatures coming out of his face 

The artist is called Salvador Dali, he was one of the first people to start doing surrealist paintings. 

 I haven chosen this image because of the things in the picture and the artist:

• Weird backgrounds 

In today's lesson we learned about all the different things on a camera. We had to draw a picture of the front, the back, and the top and label all the functions on the each part of the camera.

In today's lesson we learned about slogans, we had to match the company to the slogan and then think of what the slogan means. 

Also we had to create a bus top advert for a product in groups. Our product was perfume, we called our product perfumé exotiqué. The picture was of a woman with a a beach setting with a table on the side of her. it had on the table a cocktail and a bottle of the perfume. the bottle was a round object with a pink lid and the actual bottle was a transparent blue color to represent the sea. If i was too improve it, i would do it on the computer and get actual images.
